Corporate Tax registration: prepare the facts before opening the form.
The Federal Tax Authority provides Corporate Tax registration through EmaraTax for persons required or entitled to register. The exact obligation and deadline depend on the taxpayer category and circumstances, so current FTA guidance should govern the filing decision.
Preparation
Keep the core entity records together.
The FTA’s current service card lists a set of core documents for registration and may require additional material depending on the applicant.
- 01Certificate of incorporation, memorandum of association or partnership agreement where applicable
- 02Commercial registration certificate or other official licensing document
- 03Valid trade licence, including branch licences where applicable
- 04Identification for relevant owners and authorised signatories
- 05Evidence that the signatory is authorised to act
Current official guidance
Check the FTA service card before filing.
As of its 19 August 2026 update, the FTA states that Corporate Tax registration is available through EmaraTax and that persons required or entitled to register can apply to obtain a Corporate Tax Registration Number. The service card also lists the current documentation and procedural steps.
